As soon as I arrive in Grächen I feel at home. The wide views the tranquillity and fresh mountain air inspire me again and again…. In Grächen, I have a lovely studio in the middle of the village on the village square where, under the guidance of Annemarieke (painting teacher), we can boost our creativity, learn new techniques and create a beautiful work of art. Enjoy a few wonderful days with me and unwind in the mountains. This is a great place to relax and enjoy a wonderfully active and laid-back holiday in the atelier and chalet. Along with your fellow students, you’ll put your talent to the test behind the easel. We give our painting lessons in the studio and outside in the open air. With sufficient applications, a 5-day Master classPlein air painting will be taught by internationally acclaimed artist Marco Krauwinkel. Breakfast, lunch and dinner are provided. During the coffee and tea breaks you’ll have something to snack on and we always serve a tasty extra with the evening aperitif. I’m a passionate chef and will harness my years of experience behind the stove to cook up delicious meals, ranging from hearty stews to fancy dinners made from local products, delicious salads or home-made ravioli accompanied by a good glass of wine. You will lack for nothing What’s more, there’ll be plenty of time to socialise and chat, laze about, go on a mountain hike or take a trip to Zermatt, where you can go shopping or visit an authentic mountain hut to tuck into a delightful lunch with an amazing view. And all this in clear blue, fresh, healthy mountain air. Your well-being will come first!
